Focus on one of our advanced facials today. We use a pen like device with small needles to cause tiny punctures to the skin. The pinprick encourages a wound healing response, and renews skin cells. As your skin repairs, the production of elastin and collagen is triggered, to give an almost instant plumping effect. We use a pen rather than a roller, so that we can customise the intensity to best suit your needs. We apply a solution containing hyaluronic acid, minerals and vitamins, and peptides. Then end results is a more youthful, smoother and tighter looking skin. We do a basic needling with mesotherapy at £75 or an optimal results which also includes a clinical grade sheet mask that tightens and hydrates and also LED light therapy to additionally stimulate collagen production which is £90. It's a new month, plus a Bank Holiday tomorrow. Don't let the dull weather dampen your mood! Why not take 5 mins and set your intentions for the month ahead?
Personally mine are to not be on the laptop after 8pm, there's a walk I want to do with my dog, I need to arrange coffee with a couple of good friends and I am determined to have a treatment myself. It could be our May special or with one of my therapist friends, to be decided!

We often get asked how long a lash lift lasts… this depends on you lashes hair cycle but roughly 4-6 weeks and the curled lashes only “go” when the lash drops out and is replaced with a new one.
This lovely client came in this week for a brow shape and it was 4 weeks to the day that she had her lash lift and they are still looking 👌!!
Our lash lift package includes brow shape and tint plus the lash lift and tint.
Patch test is needed before ANY tint treatment if it’s your first tint with us or if you’ve had any change change medically since your last tint. (Any jabs or had covid etc) Be sure to book one if you book your appointment online as we will have to turn you away if you slip through the net! 😞

It's a bit like fight club, what's said in the treatment room stays in the room!! People often feel safe to share their worries in a non judgemental environment and, although we can't solve any problems for you, we can listen and support. Over the years we've heard about births, deaths, dating disasters, proposals and weddings, divorces, scandal and heartbreaks. We could write a book but people probably wouldn't believe us lol. So don't ever think your body doesn't need a massage (it does anyway!) but maybe your mind does. Look after your whole self. You're worth it!

It takes 5/6 waxes at roughly 4 weeks apart to get the best results due to hair growth cycles.

Therapy Thursday! Do you struggle with foot pain

Therapy Thursday! Do you struggle with foot pain or plantar fasciitis?
Try these trigger point stretches out. If you don’t have a ball, a tennis ball will do or freeze a small bottle of water and use that to roll your arch out. It’s really important to also do calf muscles as these will always tighten down through your feet. Check your shoes have good arch support and if you run then please get your gait assessed so you wear the correct trainers. (I highly recommend Accelerate running shop at Attercliffe in Sheffield.)
If you have one of our acupressure mats then have you tried standing on it? If it’s too hard, then sit on a chair and place your feet on the mat and gradually increase your weight put on them. Not much beats a great calf and foot massage but these are good in between treatments 👍
