How does it work?
With the Dermalux Flex, it creates changes in the skin that can promote the skin’s natural rejuvenation and repair processes without any pain or downtime after your treatment AT ALL.
So, the science-y bit is…
Clinically proven therapeutic light energy is used to promote these changes. The three different wavelengths are Blue 415nm, Red 633nm and Near Infrared 830nm. We use the different wavelengths to treat a wide range of skin concerns.
But how?
Your skin is amazing. It has the ability to use this light energy to create changes to our cells. By absorbing the light energy, our cells become stimulated. Stimulating our cells with light energy have proven skin enhancing benefits. These energised cells can now function better AND can renew and repair up to 200% faster!
What is the purpose of the different Wavelengths?
We can use the Wavelengths during the treatment individually or together. This enables us to treat a wide range of skin concerns.
Blue Light – Antibacterial. Great for acne skins. Also amazing at calming, reducing and preventing further breakouts.
Red Light – Hydration. Boosts your moisture levels in your skin. As well as reducing fine lines and promoting our collagen and elastin production.
Near Infrared Light – Skin Healing and Anti-inflammatory. Reduces the appearance of pigmentation. This wavelength can also be used to treat acne and rosacea.
You can book a standalone treatment as a luxury add on or we include it in some of our facial packages.
