As a salon we try to keep everything with a very holistic vibe. We do a lot of relaxation treatments, massages and facials as well as true holistic things such as Reiki and Reflexology. It’s what we love.

We have used Eve Taylor products for years as we love the aromatherapy aspect of the skincare range but for true deep down changes within the skin which our clients have been asking for we needed a cosmeceutical range.

This means it has clinical trials and white papers that have tested it’s results. They are regulated so any claim they make has, by law, to have been passed. It’s all results driven.

The difference with a cosmeceutical brand rather than a cosmetic brand is that it works deep down in the skin layers so that the new skin that comes through has already been improved. A cosmetic brand (ANY that you can buy on Facebook or in Boots etc) only works at surface level. Once you have shed those top level cells (approximately every month) you have to start over again. Be very aware that price isn’t a sign that it’s a cosmeceutical brand, just of great marketing. A lot of the big names are only cosmetics.

The main reason I went with DiBi though, besides the results, is that the facials are very massage based, ultra relaxing but super active. It starts with a welcome touch ritual to calm the mind and we massage in all the serums, mask solutions and moisturisers. We always include the neck and décolletage in our facials as they show signs of ageing too.

Our skin discovery session is a great way to start as it includes a skin scanner analysis to look deep down into your skin, plus a taster facial so you can feel the products too. This way we can advise you on the best facial for your needs and the most suitable homecare so you never spend money on products that you don’t need or won’t help you again.

You can book it online and also see a description of the facials on the service menu.

As always, if you’ve any questions then please phone the salon on 01226 790149
